Saraswathy Hospital was established in 1992 to commemorate B. Saraswathy Amma; a pious, gentle and very popular teacher of 1960’s who’s life was taken away by the brutal hands of Diabetes, when she was just 44 years old.

In a short span of three decades, the Saraswathy Hospital has emerged as preferred destination for Quality Health Care in a Homely Environment. We have an excellent medical team backed by ultra modern technology to combat successfully; any medical emergency. In addition to our expertise and experience of medicine, our commitment to society has also come in for great appreciation by all those concerned.

We mainly focuses Diabetes care, Diabetic Foot Management, Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery in addition to well equipped Specialities and Super Specialities.

This hospital is highly committed to the society especially to the financially challenged. The array of charitable activities focusing diabetes; including running of free community health centre and adoption of villages are its highlights.

Preventive podiatric care is delivered to high risk patients to prevent diabetic foot ulceration. All complicated diabetic foot cases are managed here with modern technology and gadgets. Major surgical procedures include vascular bypass, limb salvaging surgery and reconstruction of ankle and foot.
 
This extensive set up for Diabetic Foot headed by Dr S Dilip Kumar; raises the slogan “Amputation is not an answer to Diabetic Foot”. A world class foot assessment lab with Biothesiometry, Vascular Doppler, Computerized Foot Scan are its specialities. A well equipped Podiatric Surgery operation theatre with podiatric chair, modern pedicure setup etc, is another feature.
